The Singapore Red Cross has lunches a bus shelter campaign
incorporating the BeepMeT interactive platform to offer potential
donors information on how to give blood.
"Many potential donors are unsure how togo about giving blood
or what the qualifying criteria is," said Cecilia Tan, Director of the
Blood Donor Recruitment Program at the Red Cross. "Now they
can get this information using their mobile phones - it costs no
more than an SMS."
The Bates-created ad encourages the public to text the word
'REDCROSS' to 72337 to receive an interactive menu from BeepMeT
on their phones. Running from mid-August to end-September, the
campaign targets anyone above 45kg and aged 16 to 60.
